The Fifteen Mysteries of the Rosary: Detail, the Ascension

This is the type of Ascension in which one sees only the feet of the rising Christ. As is often the case, Mary is present but not at the center. The man on the right may be identified as St. Peter by his prominent position, square beard, and balding head.
